Wall AG

Wall AG is a Berlin company that specialises in what’s known as urban or street furniture and outdoor advertising. The firm provides the city with bus shelters and public toilet facilities, for example. It does so free of charge, but sells the advertising space on the items of street furniture that have been erected. Wall is represented in over 50 large towns and cities in six countries.

The company wanted its headquarters and three other sites in the Berlin area to be networked transparently using a uniform ICT solution. It was important for the firm to be able to integrate additional sites into the network and possibly even all of its branch offices. Every single employee was to have unrestricted access to the system’s full range of features. In addition, directory integration (Exchange, CAS genesisWorld) and CTI were required. Wall’s staff also had to be able to manage the communications system all by themselves.

Two IntelliGate 2065R communications systems and two IntelliGate 2045R systems were installed at Wall’s four corporate sites and then connected to each other transparently. The firm now has a total of 250 Aastra Business CTI licences. Thanks to the 18 transmitters installed on the company’s premises, staff can make phone calls easily on each of the sites using DECT. Each of the DECT telephones will work at all four locations. The CAS genesisWorld system used for CRM enables databases to be integrated. Staff can access the data they need from their telephones as well.
