Suicom CMG Speech complements the Suicom CMG suite by simplifying business integration with automated self-services.CMG Speech enhances the functionality for both company employees and anyone who contacts them. At the same time, CMG Speech reduces wait times, attendant workload and allows the attendants to manage other tasks.
CMG Speech consists of CMG Speech Office (CMG Interactive Voice Response (IVR) and CMG VoiceMail), CMG Speech Attendant and CMG InConference. The applications share the same communication servers; the Suicom CMG Server and CMG Speech Server.

CMG Speech Office – IVR
CMG IVR is designed to enhance the efficiency of any organization by simplifying business integration and increasing flexibility. CMG IVR has two main functions: automatic handling of incoming calls and activity and availability presentation. CMG IVR provides the caller with up-to-date activity information and several contact options in case the call cannot be answered e.g. leave a voice mail, send phone number via SMS or e-mail, transfer to mobile phone, to a colleague or to the attendant.

CMG Speech Office - VoiceMail
CMG VoiceMail is integrated in the CMG IVR as one of several menu options. CMG VoiceMail provides efficient and user friendly voice mail functionality. When a person is unavailable, callers are given a brief and accurate reply (name and activity presentation) and an option to leave a voice mails.

CMG Speech Attendant
CMG Speech Attendant is an automated attendant application, which complements the attendants with call transfers and phone number presentation. CMG Speech Attendant is based on speech recognition technology. By simply saying a person’s name, department or function, CMG Speech Attendant transfers the call. If several employees have the same name, it asks the caller to select the department or location for the requested person. In case the called person is not available CMG Speech Attendant provides the caller with up-to-date activity information and contact options. CMG Speech Attendant can also present the mobile phone number or extension number of the called person. If the CMG Speech Attendant is unable to assist the caller, it will transfer the call to the attendant. CMG Speech Attendant is designed to handle call transfers in an efficient way 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

CMG InConference
Scheduling and joining a call conference with CMG InConference is easy. The application turns the business user´s extension into a call conference bridge. You can schedule a call conference from the e-calendar or any CMG application by using the activity code “InConference” in the same way as other activities e.g. meetings are scheduled in CMG. CMG InConference is integrated with the CMG suite and from the business user’s perspective a conference call is a CMG activity.
